Gwyl Fach - Scratch Night 2023

Gwyl Fach Scratch Night was on Thursday 24th August 2023 at The Factory in Porth. The event showcases our adult/16+ groups as well as local emerging talent we’ve had the pleasure of supporting. Scratch Acts are: Flight Wings Creative Group, Hannah Lad, Kira Bissex, Tia Camilleri, Kyle Stead and David McSault, Ryan Stead, Yasmin Williams and Dylan Price. Live performance of new writing by Pencil Breakers. To Be Me, a short film by Academi Leeway, a bilingual grassroots musical theatre academi based at The Factory, Porth was also screened at the event. (All live photos taken by Rhodri Prysor). Join the Dots is a partnership with Sparc, Valleys Kids and Leeway Productions & supported by Llanfair Uniting Church Penrhys, Wales Millennium Centre and National Dance Company Wales. Sparc, Valleys Kids Youth Arts Project is so excited about our ‘Join the Dots’ Project, a huge thank you to the Arts Council of Wales for funding this through the ‘Create’ lottery scheme.
