Dros Nos 2025

Wow! What a way to finish a very busy Easter holidays! We had the brilliant opportunity through our Together Stronger partnership with the Wales Millennium Centre to take some of our young people to the annual Dros Nos event.This years Dros Nos was all about the wonderful launch of the new Platfform spaces and for the Hip Hop Academy- Next Up Academy to showcase their story of Key Change. Our young people were immersed into the world of Hip Hop from the moment they stepped into the building. They got to see how elements of the show worked in a skills carousel, witness the beautiful curtain raiser performances by Harris Academy and Larynx Entertainment, see the breath taking performance of Key Change, have a Q&A with the cast and directors, have a silent disco in the Glanfa, SLEEP under the iconic letters of the WMC and then create their responses to the performance through the different mediums of Hip Hop. What a fantastic, immersive weekend for all those who attended.
